Dr Ben McGettigan

Ben is a dual trained Clinical Immunologist and Immunopathologist. He is originally from New Zealand and completed a medical degree at the University of Auckland in 2003. He moved to Western Australia in 2005 and worked at various hospitals before completing his fellowship in 2014.

Ben has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals, predominantly in the field of autoimmunity. He has given presentations at local as well as state conferences. He is currently working 3 days a week at Fiona Stanley Hospital and 2 days a week at Perth Allergy.

Ben is happy to receive allergy referrals for patients aged 10 years or over. Perth Allergy is set up for video consultations which can be provided for country patients if appropriate.

In his spare time Ben likes to spend time with his wife and 2 daughters and ride his bike when he finds the time.
