Dr Dinusha Chandratilleke

Dinusha is a specialist in both Clinical Immunology/Allergy and Immunopathology. He studied medicine at the University of Western Australia before completing Immunology advanced training in Sydney and Perth. Dinusha moved to the UK in 2017 where he worked as a Consultant Immunologist/Allergist in the NHS (Newcastle upon Tyne) for 7 years before returning to his home town of Perth in 2024.

While in the UK, Dinusha was an elected Council member for the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI), and contributed to writing national allergy guidelines. He is a strong advocate for medical education for doctors, nurses and allied health, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education in 2024.

Dinusha will be working at Perth Allergy on Monday (morning) and Thursday (all day), and is also employed as a Clinical Immunologist/Allergist at Fiona Stanley Hospital. His areas of interest include food allergy, anaphylaxis, allergic rhinitis and immunotherapy/desensitisation, urticaria/angioedema, venom allergy and immunodeficiency.

Outside of work, Dinusha enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, and if time permits (which it rarely does), watching cricket and playing guitar.
