Dr Tom Beaton

Tom is a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist. Initially a physiotherapist, he undertook medical training at Griffith University on the Gold Coast before completing his specialty training in hospitals throughout Queensland.

He has worked as a Consultant Immunologist at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Waikato Hospital, caring for a broad range of patients with immunological conditions.

Tom is excited to relocate to Perth in 2025 and will be seeing Allergy patients on Tuesdays at Perth Allergy. He is happy to be referred adult and teenage patients 12 years and older.

Particular interests include anaphylaxis, angioedema, urticaria, allergic rhinitis, food allergy and skin allergy.

Tom is committed to the training of junior doctors and is an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys water sports, travelling and is the proud father of four children under the age of 6.
